What is the European Solar Decathlon ?
The Solar Decathlon is a student competition that its purpose is to expose the public to the matters of sustainable building and environmental studies.In the competition, the student teams are required to design, plan and build a sustainable, self-sufficient 74 m house, using solar energy as the only energy source.
The Ariel University Center (AUC) has been selected as one of 20 finalists to participate in the competition and thus is the only university to represent the state of Israel and the entire Middle East.
